LOCM’s goal is to open a Home for children who are abused and neglected. There are three phases in reaching this goal.
Phase One: LOCM Counseling Center, established in Wellington, Colorado, July 2009. LOCM offers traditional psychotherapy as well as faith-based therapy. Additional essential social services are also available.
Phase Two: Expand the counseling center into a community multi-service and prevention program to maintain the integrity of the family and prevent the need for foster care. This will include workshops, parenting groups, parenting classes and much more.
Phase Three: Open a home for severely abused and neglected children five years and younger with no safe place to live. Develop Independent Living programs where life skills are taught as the young person goes on to high school/GED, college or trade school and work.
